underpaid) or working a 9-5, saving money should always be a priority.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0 It becomes harder when you are working away from home.\u00a0 Those <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">french<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> fries that your cubby neighbor has smell so good and you will just have to buy them.\u00a0 The temptations are limitless and being away from home makes it easier to spend money.\u00a0 When you leave your house, you are most likely spending money, and there are ways to help save and stretch your budget when you can\u2019t be home every day.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559739&quot;:200}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"1\" data-aria-posinset=\"1\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Bring your lunch \u2013 this is so over done, but there is a reason for it.\u00a0 It really works.\u00a0 Our household does this a bit differently, as in I freeze most of my meals that I bring to work.\u00a0 I make big batches of food, chicken, chili, and soup and use this to help supplement my meal.\u00a0 I eat this with a piece of homemade bread (made once a week) and peanut butter.\u00a0 I bring either oatmeal or some homemade goody for breakfast.\u00a0 I have snacks at my desk.\u00a0 The amount of money we save with me doing this every day is amazing.\u00a0 I can get 60 days\u2019 worth of chili for what I would spend on one week of going out every day for one meal.\u00a0 Now, this can get expensive if you aren\u2019t smart about your purchases.\u00a0 Here are some examples below<\/span><span data-aria-posinset=\"1\" data-aria-level=\"2\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Buy in bulk, especially if you are freezing.\u00a0 Buying a family size pack of chicken is usually cheaper when compared to a smaller pack.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;134233279&quot;:true,&quot;335559739&quot;:200}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li data-leveltext=\"o\" data-font=\"Courier New\" data-listid=\"1\" data-aria-posinset=\"2\" data-aria-level=\"2\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Put a little work into it <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u2013<\/span> <span data-contrast=\"auto\">don\u2019t go for the prepackaged oatmeal.\u00a0 You can make your own brown sugar oatmeal with the larger canister that costs either the same or is cheaper than the box.\u00a0 When I have oatmeal for breakfast, I am spending 0.08 for each meal by scooping the oats out of a canister rather than pouring them out of a paper bag.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span data-aria-posinset=\"1\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Buy your wardrobe at the best times \u2013 every office, business, or workplace has a certain dress code for their company.\u00a0 Mine is professional, jackets, suits and sweaters.\u00a0 I would be sent home if I work anything with denim on it.\u00a0 No matter where you work, the clothes you need for your job can get expensive.\u00a0 Search for clothes when they are on sale.\u00a0 You are eventually going to have to replace your worn out t-shirt that is covered in grease.\u00a0 There just comes a time when it needs to hit the trash.\u00a0 Why not buy the replacement a month before you need it for $3 on clearance instead of spending $7 when you have to have it.\u00a0 Know what you need now or will need in the near future.\u00a0 Search high and low for these things.\u00a0 Have your best price in mind at all times.\u00a0 I have saved thousands of dollars building my work wardrobe this way.<\/span><span
