Extreme Pantry Challenge Week 7 | 15 Freezer Loaves for Yard Sale Season

Extreme Pantry Challenge Week 7 | 15 Freezer Loaves for Yard Sale Season

Itโ€™s Week 7 of our Extreme pantry challenge, and today Iโ€™m turning basic pantry staples into 15 loaves of freezer bread for under $1 per loaf. ๐Ÿž This is bulk baking for real life: fast grab-and-go breakfasts, no extra grocery runs, and a freezer stocked before yard sale season hits.

In this video, Iโ€™m using my home-canned apples, berry syrup, and bulk ingredients to batch bake:

โ€“ Apple Bread

โ€“ Berry Oat Bread

Iโ€™m doing all of this in one afternoon so that on busy mornings, we can pull out bread for French toast bakes, or simple toast without spending extra time, money, or mental energy. This is how we stretch one normal income, stay debt-free, and still eat well during our busiest seasons.

Pantry cost per 2-loaf batch (My bulk price vs. frugal sale price):

โ€“ Apple Bread: ~ $0.89 (about $1.90 if you bought ingredients on sale)

โ€“ Berry Oat Bread: ~ $0.77 (about $3.80 if you bought ingredients on sale)

Frugal pantry staples used:

โ€“ Home-canned apples, home-canned blueberries and berry syrup

โ€“ Flour, oats, sugar, oil, and spices bought in bulk at best price

โ€“ Yeast and other baking basics bought in bulk

If youโ€™re doing a pantry challenge, want more cheap breakfast ideas, or are looking for freezer meals and bulk baking inspiration, this video will show you how to turn what you already have into a stocked freezer and calmer mornings
